PPP is taking a more aggressive stance this time while disagreeing with the government. According to sources, PPP’s reservations this time are very dangerous because it possibly has the ability to form its own coalition government. PPP leader Nadeem Afzal Chan has said that PPP will consider the possibility of forming a new alliance and will also consider forming its own government.
In the past, PPP had severely criticized PML-N and had also threatened to separate from the government alliance. PPP has registered its reservations numerous times in the past, which did not yield any results because it was an open secret that they would not leave PMLN until the forces behind this alliance did so. Given this fact, the government has very little capacity to tolerate this protest.
The PPP leader claimed that dark clouds are looming over the government and the next two months are crucial for its survival, adding that the PPP is in a win-win scenario by any means.
Nadeem Afzal Chan said that we are getting new signals of alliance from the PTI. Regarding the formation of new alliances, he said that it will be considered in the upcoming meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee. Asked whether matters have been settled with the PMLN-led government, where the PPP can consider separation,
He said that this decision should be taken by the party’s CEC. Political parties should keep their doors open for talks. In my opinion, the government is not going anywhere and there will be no international pressure. The fact is that powerful circles are on the same page with the PML-N and as long as this continues, there will be no problem for the government. Regarding the implementation of the recent understanding with the PML-N, he said that the PML-N has sought time till January 20 to fulfill its commitment to the PPP.
Recently, Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider had also said at a function that the only solution to the problems facing Pakistan is to make Chairman PPP Bilawal the Prime Minister of Pakistan. PML-N leaders have also openly opposed the alliance with the PTI as they believe that any political concession for the PTI would mean the end of the PMLN government. However, those in the know claimed that despite international pressure, no concession will be made to the PTI and its founder till the last moment.
