Islamabad: The Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad has postponed the hearing on the post-arrest bail applications of 250 accused in the D-Chowk protest cases on November 26 until January 9.
Duty Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the Anti-Terrorism Court conducted the hearing in which the accused’s lawyers Ansar Kayani, Sardar Bushak, Amina Ali, Fatehullah Burki and others appeared.
The court said in its remarks that several accused in these cases have been granted bail, some have been discharged, and the bails of sick accused and children have been granted.
The court said that all these applications will be kept for tomorrow, the judge will come tomorrow, the prosecutor requested that a Friday or Saturday date be given in these applications, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 9.
Two cases each have been registered against more than 250 PTI workers in Kohsar Police Station, Karachi Company and Secretariat, and one case each in Margalla Police Station, Tarnol, and Ramna.
