A New York court has ordered US President-elect Donald Trump to appear in court on January 10 to hear sentence.
A New York court will sentence President-elect Donald Trump on January 10 in the case of allegedly embezzling money from an actress. The court said that Trump’s election as president does not justify the dismissal of the case. Trump can appear in person or via video link to hear the sentence.
US President-elect Donald Trump rejected the court’s order in a statement on social networking site X (Twitter) after the court’s order. Trump said that the judge’s order is an illegal political attack. This case is a fake. If I am convicted, it would be unconstitutional and, as far as I know, would also end my presidency.
Donald Trump was convicted in May last year of charges of embezzling $130,000 from adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Trump has called all the allegations false and baseless.
