35 FIA employees involved in boat accidents have been dismissed and cases have been registered against 13.
According to the Federal Investigation Agency spokesperson, those dismissed include 4 inspectors, 10 sub-inspectors, 2 ASIs, 5 head constables and 14 constables.
DG FIA Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir says that there is no place for officials involved in negligence in the institution. Only through accountability in the institution will it be possible to eliminate human trafficking.
Ahmed Ishaq Jahangir said that disciplinary action will be ensured against officials involved in boat accidents, and the institution will be cleansed of black sheep involved in corruption and other irregularities.
