Islamabad: Hearing on Chairman PTI’s petition against Prime Minister and Federal Ministers was held.
District Sessions Judge Azam Khan heard the private complaint filed by Chairman PTI on the issue of dead and missing workers in the D-Chowk protest.
The court adjourned the hearing till January 15 without taking any action due to the absence of the complainant. Earlier, Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar Ali Khan’s lawyer Sardar Latif Khosa appeared in the court along with the lawyers and informed that Barrister Gauhar would be coming soon.
The judge remarked that the hearing of this case will be kept after the winter vacations. Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till January 15 without taking any action.
It should be noted that Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has filed a private complaint in the court against the current government, in which Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Information Minister Atta Tarar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif have been made parties.
The petition has also made the IG Islamabad, DIG Operations, SSP Security and unknown persons parties. In addition, a list of 38 injured workers has also been attached to the petition, while the names of 139 missing workers have also been listed in the petition.
