Islamabad: Former Foreign Minister and PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi is likely to be indicted today in the May 9 GHQ attack case.
Security around the jail has been put on high alert, a heavy contingent of police has been deployed outside the jail and on Adiala Road.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi was taken to Adiala Jail from Lahore while Sadaqat Abbasi, Usman Dar, Sheikh Rasheed, Wasiq Abbasi, Shibli Faraz, Shehryar Afridi and Colonel (retd) Ajmal Raja and other leaders are present in the court.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Amjad Ali Shah is conducting the hearing. Prosecutor Zaheer Shah is giving arguments on the bail rejection application.
The application for cancellation of bail of 23 accused including KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur will be processed.
