Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar has left for Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to attend the 11th Summit of the Developing Eight (D8) countries to be held on December 19, 2024.
A statement issued by Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that before the summit, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will attend the 21st meeting of the D8 Council of Ministers on December 18.
The Foreign Office said that in addition, the Deputy Prime Minister will participate in the Conference on Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) to be held in Baku today via video link from Cairo.
According to the Foreign Office Spokesperson, the Foreign Minister is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other countries present in Cairo on this occasion.
