MUMBAI: Bollywood celebrities attended the film festival held to mark the birth centenary of legendary actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor. Alia Bhatt and her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor also attended the event.
A video is circulating on social media during the event in which Alia Bhatt is seen looking a little tense.
On this occasion, Kareena Kapoor, in her calm and friendly manner, went close to Alia and consoled Karan with a smile, after which her tension reduced considerably. After this, both the sisters-in-law posed for a group photo with other members of the Kapoor family including Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Randhir Kapoor and Babita Kapoor.
Organised in collaboration with RK Films, Film Heritage Foundation and National Film Archive of India (NFDC), “Raj Kapoor 100: Celebrating the Great Showman” is screening Raj Kapoor’s classic films across 40 cities and 135 venues across India from December 13 to 15. The festival includes films like “Awara”, “Shri 420”, and “Mera Naam Joker”.
Alia Bhatt is busy with her professional career these days. She was recently seen in Vasan Bala’s “Jeegra”, which was her second film under the banner of her production house “Eternal Sunshine Pictures”. Her next project is “Alpha with Shruri”, which will be the first female-led film in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe.
