Lahore: Punjab Minister for Health and Emergency Services Khawaja Salman Rafique has said that medical staff and emergency rescuers are on high alert across the province and special measures have been taken for rescue services.
Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique said in a statement that all hospitals and emergency services are engaged in serving the public and Rescue 1122 has made special arrangements for the provision of timely rescue services.
He said that medical staff and emergency rescuers are on high alert across Punjab and the provincial monitoring cell is continuously monitoring the provision of services.
Secretary Emergency Services Dr. Rizwan Naseer said that Rescue 1122 has created special “key points” across Punjab for immediate rescue services.
He said that rescue teams have been deployed at important locations in the provincial capital and across Punjab.
Dr. Rizwan Naseer asked the public to contact the rescue helpline 1122 from mobile, PT cell, and Android app in case of emergency.
