Karachi: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that people do not want the politics of chaos and slander. If PTI members come out for the betterment of the people instead of releasing Imran Khan, the people will support them.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, Sharjeel Inam Memon said that at present there is an attempt to create chaos and anarchy in the country, all federal and provincial governments have to meet the expectations of the people, the people vote so that their problems are solved, the Sindh government must fulfill the promises made.
He said that the Sindh government is working under the leadership of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and President Asif Zardari, traders, industrialists, farmers and ordinary citizens all want relief, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has talked about implementing the water agreement, if any province has an objection, that project should not be built.
He said that the Sindh government has issued Kisan Cards, the Ministers of Health and Education are active, work is being done in the transport sector, the BRT Red Line is being built, we are bringing EV taxis very soon.
He said that when the PPP government came to power, Kisan Cards worth Rs 20 billion were distributed among farmers to solve the problems faced by farmers, we are trying to solve the water problem faced by farmers, full efforts are being made to fulfill the promises of providing 2.1 million houses, the Health Minister is trying to solve the health problems faced by the province.
He said that in the past twelve years, bad incidents of law and order have occurred in KP, the incident of breaking APS and Bannu jail occurred and the government kept watching, what relief has been given to the people of KP, they turn to other provinces for employment, even today foreign delegations are coming and they are giving a message of politics of chaos and invasion terrorism.
He said that tell me one demand from yesterday’s call that is for the people and the province, just to somehow get Imran Khan out, tell me how many people came out for protests in Karachi? People are fed up with them now, they want solutions to the problems of the people, people do not want politics of chaos and abuse, if they come out for the betterment of the people, the people will also support them.
He said that their agenda is to just get them out of jail, when Faryal Talpur was put in jail, when did the Sindh government and people come out with groups to invade Islamabad, we did not use any government machinery for personal interests, could the KP government’s resources that were used in these protests not have been used for the relief of the people? The people have rejected their call of November 24, the media is a witness that no one from Sindh came out voluntarily for their protest.
