Islamabad: Indictment of Imran Khan and other accused in the GHQ attack case has been postponed again.
The hearing of the GHQ attack case of May 9 tragedy in the Anti-Terrorism Court Rawalpindi was held by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah, in which Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawyer Muhammad Faisal Malik appeared in the court.
The lawyer took the position in the court that it was not possible for the accused to appear in the court due to the road closure.
Later, the court postponed the indictment proceedings in the GHQ attack case until November 28. The indictment proceedings in this May 9 case were postponed due to the absence of the accused.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi could not be produced in the Rawalpindi court from Lahore today due to the road closure to deal with the PTI protests in many cities of Punjab including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, similarly Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and others could not appear in the court.
It should be noted that in today’s hearing, 120 accused in the GHQ attack case, including the founder of PTI, were to be indicted.
