Karachi/Islamabad: Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed deep concern over the deteriorating law and order situation in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and stressed that the lives and property of the citizens should be protected.
In his statement, he said that on the one hand, Kurram district is burning in the fire of unrest, on the other hand, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is missing from the province. Being a silent spectator of the government during unrest is tantamount to becoming an ally of terrorists.
80 citizens have been killed in three days, people are not safe even in their homes, maintaining law and order is the primary responsibility of the provincial government, but the PTI provincial government has proven to have failed in fulfilling its responsibility of protecting the lives and property of the citizens. We condemn the criminal negligence of the PTI government in Kurram district.
