Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s (PTI) protest announcement and said why does PTI organize protests during visits, economic or diplomatic activities of important foreign leaders.
According to an APP report, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said while talking to a private TV that PTI’s agenda is to spread chaos and create instability in the country and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should strive to eradicate terrorism from the province instead of attacking the federation.
He questioned why PTI often organizes protests during important programs such as important visits, conferences and economic or diplomatic activities.
Criticizing the recent video statement of PTI founder Bushra Bibi’s wife, he claimed that it targeted religion, politics and international relations.
Khawaja Asif said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should strive to eradicate terrorism from the province but unfortunately he is busy planning attacks on the federation.
He said that PTI people want to do politics on dead bodies but the government will not allow anyone to spread unrest in the country and take the law into their own hands.
The Defense Minister said that the government will take all possible steps to protect the lives and property of the people and maintain the stability of the country and strict action will be taken against the miscreants.
