A case has been registered under the Telegraph Act 1885 on the video statement of Bushra Bibi, the wife of the founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former first lady.

A case has been registered against Bushra Bibi in Jamal Khan police station of Dera Ghazi Khan area of Punjab on the complaint of a person named Ghulam Yasin.

In the FIR, the plaintiff took the position that he heard Bushra Bibi’s statement on a private channel, which is a conspiracy to spoil relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

The plaintiff took the position that Bushra Bibi’s video statement is tantamount to hurting the sentiments of the Pakistani people and it is a well-planned conspiracy, therefore, action should be taken against Bushra Bibi according to the law.

Apart from this, a case was registered against Bushra Bibi in Rajanpur under the Telegraph Act 1885 in the Muhammadpur Gumwala police station on the complaint of a citizen named Hakim, while a case was also registered in the City Police Station in Layyah district under the complaint of a person named Sohail Ashfaq under the Telegraph Act 129, 1885.

It should be noted that Bushra Bibi had claimed in her statement a day ago that when Imran Khan walked barefoot in Medina, the former army chief received calls from Saudi officials and expressed reservations and said, “Which religion have you brought contractors?”
