Narendra Modi was aware of the murder of Khalistan leader Hardeep Singh Najjar: Canadian newspaper
Evidence of the involvement of the Indian intelligence agency RAW in the murder of separatist Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Najjar, who was killed in Canada last year, was found and now Modi’s involvement has also come to light.
An investigative report by a leading Canadian daily, The Globe and Mail, citing Canadian security agencies, has revealed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also aware of the murder of the Sikh leader and other violent conspiracies.
The report says that an official connected with Canadian national security said on condition of anonymity that the conspiracy to kill the Sikh leader was prepared by Indian Home Minister Amit Shah and that Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, including Prime Minister Modi, were also aware of this.
The Canadian national security official also emphasized that this conspiracy must have been discussed at the highest level with the Indian government.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Commissioner Mike Duhamel said last month that there is evidence of Indian involvement in the murder of not only Hardeep Singh Najjar but also three other Sikhs.
It may be recalled that last year, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, in a press conference, presented evidence of Indian involvement in the murder of Hardeep Singh Najjar and expelled the Modi government’s diplomat.
Since then, tensions and tensions between the two countries have been increasing day by day.
