The Foreign Office Spokesperson said that there are serious concerns about the safe havens of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, and the external support received by these terrorist groups is also a cause for concern.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that we saw a letter written by a British member of parliament to the British Foreign Secretary on social media regarding political and personal freedoms in Pakistan. This letter was not shared with Pakistan. This letter is a correspondence between the British Parliament and a member of parliament, which is an internal matter of British parliamentary representatives. This letter was not given to the government of Pakistan and was not given officially.
He denied that the proposal to appoint a special representative on Afghanistan was under consideration, saying that the Chinese Special Representative for Afghanistan and the Russian Special Representative for Afghanistan had recently visited Pakistan and met with Additional Secretary for West Asia Ahmed Nasim Warraich.
The Foreign Office spokesperson added that Pakistan has close ties with the United States on security issues and is discussing the issue of ballistic missiles falling into the hands of terrorist groups.
It should be noted that the United States vetoed the Gaza ceasefire resolution in the United Nations Security Council.
According to a report by the foreign news agency Reuters, 15 members of the United Nations Security Council voted on a resolution submitted by 10 non-permanent members for a ceasefire in Gaza.
The resolution separately called for an immediate end to the 13-month-old war in Gaza and the release of Israelis held by Hamas.
Only the United States, as a permanent member, exercised its veto power in the Security Council and vetoed the ceasefire resolution.
