Today is the second and final day of the G20 summit of the world’s 20 largest economies in the Brazilian capital.
According to the World News Agency, representatives of all member countries, including Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru, US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping, are participating in the meeting.
At the G20 summit, leaders expressed their determination to move forward with effective measures to address hunger and poverty around the world.
In addition, the leaders expressed concern about the damage caused by climate change and stressed a joint action plan to deal with it.
The joint statement issued at the end of the first day of the meeting called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon.
The statement further said that the United States should support the ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon so that the release of hostages and the return of displaced people to their homes can be possible.
On the first day of the G20 summit, leaders expressed their desire for an early end to the war between Russia and Ukraine.
It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not participating in this meeting.
