Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif while talking to Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong at the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad said that I have come to meet you to condemn this attack on Chinese citizens and condole with the injured.
Shehbaz Sharif assured the Chinese ambassador that those responsible for the attack will be quickly apprehended and punished, saying that China is a long-standing friend of Pakistan, and the attack on Chinese citizens is a nefarious attempt to harm Pakistan-China fraternal relations. .
He further said that the security of Chinese citizens working in Pakistan is the top priority of the government.
While thanking the Prime Minister for his visit to the embassy, the Chinese Ambassador hoped that the Prime Minister would play a role in bringing those responsible for the incident to justice.
