MALI: Maldives has recalled its High Commissioner Muhammad Taha from Pakistan after having an unofficial meeting with the Afghan Governor.
According to foreign media, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Maldives said that the government did not allow the meeting held two days ago between the High Commissioner of Maldives Muhammad Taha and the Afghan Governor of Affairs Sardar Ahmad Shakib, on which the Maldives government has taken appropriate action.
According to official sources, Muhammad Taha’s name was removed from the website of the Maldives Mission in Islamabad and he was recalled.
