The Islamabad High Court removed the objections to the bail application of former Prime Minister and founding chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana 2 case and directed to set the case for hearing on Monday, November 4.
Islamabad High Court Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb heard the bail application, Ayesha Khalid, Shahina Shahab and other lawyers appeared in the court on behalf of founder PTI.
The court asked the petitioner’s counsel what it is. The registrar office has objections to the application, lawyer Ayesha Khalid said that it is the bail application of founder PTI in Tosha Khana 2 case, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb said that you said that there are rules of consistency but this is is male
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, referring to Bushra Bibi’s bail, said that she was a woman, then she became bail, I rejected such an application yesterday.
The court said that the registrar’s office objected that the power of attorney was dated July and the cause of action was dated November. As a routine practice, we sign power of attorney together when the applicant is in jail.
After hearing the arguments, the High Court overruled the objections of the Registrar’s Office and directed the application to be fixed for hearing on Monday.
