Islamabad: Despite the court order against former Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Islamabad High Court has sought the records of the security threats received by the Ministry of Interior in the contempt of court case for banning the meeting of lawyers.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan issued a written hearing order on the application.
The Islamabad High Court ordered that the informed officer of the Ministry of Interior should appear in the court along with the record of security threats, to present the record on the basis of which the Punjab government banned prison visits.
The High Court has summoned the Superintendent Adiala Jail again today in a personal capacity. The contempt of court case will be heard today at 10:30 am.
It should be noted that the court has issued a notice to the Attorney General’s Office for judicial assistance.
