Indian filmmaker Elu Arvind has hinted at the sequel of Bollywood’s super hit movie “Gajni”.
Allu Arvind has revealed that the sequel of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan’s famous film Ghajini will be shot simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil languages.
The filmmaker says that Ghajini 2 will be made simultaneously in both Hindi and Tamil languages and both the films will be released simultaneously. Actors Aamir Khan and Suriya are reportedly in talks with producer Elu Arvind to finalize the script.
According to Indian media, actor Aamir Khan and Tamil film hero Suriya like the idea of their hit film Ghajini 2 and both actors have agreed to work in the sequel of the film. Filmmaker Elu Arvind plans to start shooting the Hindi and Tamil versions of the film at the same time.
According to the Indian media report, citing sources close to the production, Aamir Khan has also been working with Allu Arvind for some time regarding the production of Ghajini 2. The actor is keen to work on a fresh script rather than a remake of the Tamil version of the film.
Both Aamir Khan and Suriya are not in favor of working as a remake of a film. Because they don’t want to be tagged as a remake. So Allu Arvind and Madhu Mantina have come up with a solution to shoot Ghajini 2 together in both languages. For which the same schedule and simultaneous presentation on the big screen are being discussed.
According to the filmmaker, if everything goes according to plan, the outline of Ghajini 2 will be completed by mid-2025. Both Aamir Khan and Suriya have initially lined up and now everything depends on the final script.
The Tamil version of Ghajini was released in 2005, starring Suriya and Asin, while in 2008, the Hindi version of Aamir Khan’s Ghajini hit the screens and was a huge success at the box office.
