Lahore: Singer Umar Malik has been discharged from the May 9 Jinnah House attack case.
On the appearance of singer Umar Malik arrested in the Jinnah House attack case, the judge of Anti-Terrorism Court Lahore asked the investigating officer that the accused has been arrested after 16 months, why did you remain silent for sixteen months?
The judge of the Anti-Terrorism Court asked why the accused was not notified by the court.
After hearing the case, the honorable judge of ATC acquitted the accused.
It may be recalled that singer Umar Malik was arrested by FIA cyber crime wing on October 10 and the accused was produced in the court on completion of 10-day physical remand.
