Inspector General (IG) Punjab has been summoned on the petition filed in the Lahore High Court for the details of the cases filed against the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and the sisters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan.
Justice Ali Zia Bajwa heard the application of Alima Khan’s son Shiraz Khan, on this occasion Barrister Khadija Siddiqui appeared in the court on behalf of the applicant.
During the hearing, the public prosecutor requested that we be given time to provide the details of the cases, to which the court replied that no time can be given, IG Punjab appeared in the court and informed about the details of the cases. do
The petition stated that Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan are currently on physical remand in a case registered in Islamabad, the two sisters of PTI founders are being targeted for political vendetta for the past two years.
The petition further said that it is feared that Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan will be arrested again in an unknown case.
The court was requested to provide the details of the cases registered against Alima Khan and Uzmi Khan and not to arrest Alima Khanum and Uzmi Khan in any unknown case.
Later, the Lahore High Court summoned IG Punjab at 2 p.m.
Remember that on October 4, PTI arrested 30 people including the sisters of PTI founder Imran Khan during D Chowk in the red zone of Islamabad.
On October 8, another 2-day physical remand of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sisters Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan was approved.
Later, on October 10, Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan were granted physical remand for another 2 days.
On October 12, in the D Chowk protest case, the Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad sent Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan to jail on judicial remand.
