ISLAMABAD: Security arrangements are tight in the federal capital regarding the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting.
All business centers near Noor Khan Airbase and Islamabad Airport were closed. All markets including hotels and restaurants are also closed.
The arrival of guests to participate in the conference continues. Islamabad is beautifully decorated for the world conference. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited at different times and reviewed the preparations for the meeting.
On the other hand, in Rawalpindi, all the markets and bazaars in the inner city are open and business activities are going on as usual. According to the police, all roads in Rawalpindi cantt and inner city are open.
It should be noted that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit will be held in the federal capital on October 15 and 16.
