The Peshawar High Court returned the disqualification petition of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur with objections again.
The Peshawar High Court objected to the petition filed for the disqualification of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and said that there is a constitutional procedure to remove the Chief Minister from office. The High Court is not the appropriate forum to remove the Chief Minister.
The petitioner had taken the stand that Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur had violated his oath by using government resources recklessly during the protest. The Chief Minister should be stopped from work and disqualified for violating the oath.
The registrar’s office had earlier objected to the application and returned it. The application was again filed on behalf of the petitioner, which has been returned by the Registrar’s Office again objecting.
