New York: Israel threatened Iran with serious consequences.
Addressing an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council, the Israeli delegate threatened that Iran would have to pay a heavy price for the missile attacks and face consequences that could not have been imagined.
The representative of Israel further said that Iran is the enemy of all civilized nations and its own people. The Security Council should impose sanctions against Iran. Iran’s missile attacks will be retaliated. Iran fired more than 400 ballistic missiles at Israel from Isfahan, Tabriz, Khorramabad, Karaj and Arak. After the missile attacks, sirens sounded throughout Israel, including occupied Jerusalem, and Israelis took refuge in bunkers.
