ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court of Islamabad upheld the arrest warrant of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur in the case registered under the anti-terrorism provisions and started the process of declaring the accused Tanveer Butt as an advertisement.
Judge Tahir Abbas Supra of the Anti-Terrorism Court heard the case registered against PTI leaders Faisal Javed and others in police station I Nain. Haider bin Masood Amir Mehmood Kayani Faisal Javed appeared in court.
Ali Amin Gandapur, Umar Tanveer and Wasiq Qayyum did not appear in court. An application for exemption from the attendance of Rashid Hafeez was filed, which was accepted by the court.
The court upheld the arrest warrants of Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur and Wasiq Qayyum and initiated proceedings to declare PTI leader Umar Tanveer Butt as an advertisement.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case till October 21.
