Judge Abida Sajid of Accountability Court No. 3 said that all the parties agree on the point that this case is not the jurisdiction of this court.
President Asif Ali Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H. Naik read the NAB amendment law before the court and said that after the NAB amendments, this case does not become the jurisdiction of this court, this case is of 80.5 million which is less than 500 million. The case should be sent back to Chairman NAB.
The NAB prosecutor said that when a case is not within the jurisdiction of the court, there will be no merit discussions. Asif Ali Zardari gave a check which bounced. Asif Zardari’s case will be separated and Asif Zardari’s case will be separated, this case will remain as long as Asif Ali Zardari is the president, let the court send the reference back to the extent of Nawaz Sharif and keep it to the extent of Asif Ali Zardari.
Farooq H. Naik said that if this court sends the case to another court instead of returning it, it is like discussing the merit, if the court keeps this reference, it is a violation of law.
Whether the Tosha Khana vehicle reference against Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif will go on or not, the court reserved its decision after the arguments of the parties were completed, which will be pronounced on October 14.
