The inside story of the meeting between former President Arif Alvi and Jamiat Ulema Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has come out.
According to the sources, PTI founder Imran Khan conveyed a message to Maulana Fazlur Rehman through Arif Alvi that the government wanted to kill the judiciary, which the opposition together failed, we appreciate your role.
Sources said that Imran Khan gave a message to Maulana Fazlur Rehman to stand together on public democratic issues. Arif Alvi appreciated Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s role on the Constitutional Amendment Bill issue, and thanked his party.
Sources further said that the JUI chief assured to take the opposition along on the issue of the amendment bill.
