All the detained activists including Jamaat-e-Islami leader and former senator Mushtaq Ahmed were released.
According to the Islamabad Police spokesman, Mushtaq Ahmed and his wife, along with members of the Save Gaza Movement, were released on a written guarantee not to do it again.
It should be remembered that Islamabad police arrested several participants of Gaza March for violation of Article 144.
Earlier, on June 22, former center Mushtaq Ahmed had a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, after which it was announced to end the 41-day long Save the Gaza sit-in in Islamabad.
