Mianwali: IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and Secretary Home Punjab Noor Ul Amin Mengal visited Kala Bagh Mianwali late at night.
Spokesperson Punjab Police IG Punjab and Secretary Home Punjab reviewed the law and order situation in Kalabagh in detail.
IG Punjab and Secretary Home Punjab urged both schools to remain peaceful and said that there is an urgent need to promote inter-religious harmony, unity and tolerance.
He said that all schools of thought, scholars, community leaders, security agencies will ensure the establishment of peace.
On this occasion, Hafiz Zubair Hassan, Divisional Peace Committee Lahore, Naib Mahatmam Jama Ashrafiya Lahore, Mufti Raghib Naeemi, Chairman Islamic Ideological Council, Qasim Ali Qasmi Jama Al Manzar Model Town Lahore and scholars of Sargodha and District Mianwali were also present.
The spokesperson of Punjab Police further said that senior officers including DPO Khushab Toqeer Muhammad Naeem, SPRIB Azhar Yaqub were also accompanied by IG Punjab.
