An Israeli army major was killed in a Hamas operation in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Israeli media Haaretz, the dead soldier was identified as Jalah Ibrahim. Major Jalah Ibrahim, 25, was from a Druze village in northern Israel.
He was the company commander of the 601st Combat Engineering Battalion. Most of Ibrahim’s family members are officers in the Israeli army.
During the recent war, Ibrahim made loud claims in an interview with Israel’s national broadcaster Kan 11 that we want to destroy Hamas. We didn’t just go to Gaza to teach them a lesson, we will wipe out Hamas there.
