Karachi/Islamabad: The 4-day defense exhibition Ideas will begin today in a traditional manner at the Expo Center, to be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Compared to the previous Ideas, this time around 17 new countries, including Iran, Italy and Britain, are participating, one hall will be reserved for new startups.
A major Pakistan Defense Production Potential Seminar will be held at a local hotel in Shahr-e-Quaid. The Pakistani-made tank Haider will be introduced in the defense exhibition, and the Pakistani-made Shahpar 3 drone will be on display.
This year, 55 countries are participating in the military equipment exhibition Ideas 2024 with their products and assets. In addition to 6 halls of the Expo Center, 3 special markets have also been set up to organize the Ideas held every two years. Stalls of 224 local and 333 international companies have been set up in the exhibition.
The Karachi Show of professional training of the three armed forces will be presented to the citizens of Karachi on November 21. According to DIG Traffic Ahmed Nawaz Cheema, the two-way road Sir Shah Suleman Road, which passes right in front of the expo, will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm during the exhibition.
Meanwhile, Ideas 2024, the beginning of a new era of Pakistan’s defense strength and partnership, SIFC aims to strengthen Pakistan’s defense industry at the global level. This exhibition will showcase modern and traditional defense equipment that reflects Pakistan’s industrial development.
This exhibition provides effective networking between foreign delegations, government officials and exhibitors. The Ideas team effectively coordinates networking through modern facilities and software. The aim of SIFC is to highlight Pakistan’s defense industry on a global scale, which will ensure national security.
