LAHORE: Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari are expected to meet today in Jati Amra to discuss government formation.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will be accompanied by Asif Zardari in the meeting at Jati Amra today, while Maryam Nawaz, Shehbaz Sharif and Ishaq Dar will be present on behalf of PML-N.
Asif Zardari and Bilawal are currently in Islamabad and will soon leave for Lahore. It is expected that the meeting will take place today. Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi is also active in the meeting.
According to the sources, the names of their respective prime ministers are being given by both sides, the leaders will decide which party will be the president and which party will be the prime minister.
If the two parties do not agree, the independent candidates will form their own government, against which the two parties will meet today to decide the course of action.
There are reports that Ishaq Dar has given a briefing to Nawaz Sharif regarding the previous talks and these things have not come out in the media.
Meanwhile, PML-N Central President Shehbaz Sharif has contacted Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the phone and invited him for a meeting.
According to party sources, Maulana Fazlur Rehman will come to Lahore soon to meet Shehbaz Sharif.
Sources say that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has also congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his victory on all the seats of the central leaders of the party.
