Rawalpindi: The Rawalpindi High Court bench has issued notices to the Ministry of Interior and the Federation on the petition against inclusion of Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rasheed’s name in the Exit Control List (ECL).
High Court Rawalpindi Bench Judge Justice Sadaqat Ali Khan heard the petition against inclusion of Sheikh Rasheed’s name in the LCL. The court issued a notice to the Ministry of Interior and the Federation and sought their response on February 28.
Why was the name of former interior minister Sheikh Rasheed included in the ECL, the court sought a written answer. Sheikh Rashid said that my name has been included in the ECL as a political revenge. He declined to speak further to the media.
