Rawalpindi: PTI founder Imran Khan has demanded the US to take a tough stance on the rigging of general elections in Pakistan.
After meeting Imran Khan in Adiala Jail, while talking to the media along with former Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Barrister Saif said that the founder of PTI said that the US should adopt a tougher stance on elections, just like the PTI. Thrown out of the polls, America must be more vocal.
Barrister Saif said that the founder of PTI is of the opinion that the US supported the governments of dictators and corrupt people, now the US has an opportunity to raise its voice on Pakistan’s election rigging.
Asad Qaiser said that we will not resign under any circumstances and we will sit in the assembly, we have expressed our concerns, we will also protest and sit in the assemblies.
The former speaker of the National Assembly said that America, which considers itself a champion, is silent on this matter. America’s cosmetics-type statement is not acceptable.
