Seoul: The South Korean car company Hyundai Mobis (Hyundai Mobis) has introduced a technology under which the interior lights in cars will change according to the mood of the driver.
According to media reports, the company cited the technology as being designed to sense drivers’ moods as well as their surroundings so that interior lights’ colors, brightness and displays can be adjusted automatically.
The driver’s heart rate and blink rate will be monitored by sensors and cameras installed in the vehicle to gauge the driver’s emotions.
The new lighting system can generate a total of 32 different patterns using information about the driver and other factors such as the weather.
A Hyundai Mobs representative told the News that the driver, for example, is under stress. So the light in the car will turn red. And if one is not stressed and normal, the light will turn green.
